Recommendation for Application

STRUKTOL VP 5236 is a very finely dispersed polymer emulsion. The emulsion has a high stability and is insensitive against shear stress. STRUKTOL VP 5236 is low viscous, can be easily dosed and gives a uniform coherent film on the surface due to self crosslinking properties. The product shows excellent release and slip properties.

STRUKTOL VP 5236 can be blended with other silicone or non-silicone emulsions to achieve special effects like smooth and silky touch. The compatibility has to be checked in any case.

The product can be used in knitwear finish and easy care finish and keeps the shape of the treated goods after washing. It increases the elasticity and the dimensional stability and modifies positively the surface smoothness. STRUKTOL VP 5236 causes no yellowing on the fabric.

STRUKTOL VP 5236 can be diluted at any time with deionized water.

In case of prolonged storage, silicone emulsions can show differences in concentration due to condensation of water at the top of the container and due to slight creaming. The emulsion should be stirred up well before application.
