TA 403

General Information

TA 403 is a Polyoxypropylene-carbon atoms. Hence the nucleophilic reaction triamine with an average molecular weight of the amine groups is sterically hindered by about 400. The carbon-oxygene backbone is the vicinal methyl groups. This leads to a terminated on both ends by primary amine moderate reactivity of TA 403 groups which are attached to secondary which is desired for many epoxy applications.

Application

TA 403 is a highly reactive chain extender for polyurethanes and used as a modifier. Using of TA 403 in epoxy applications leads to extremely hard products which are resistant to impact stresses and thermal cycling.
