Application
K3 is a well balanced trimerisation catalyst mainly for PIR foams. It provides good trimerisation conversion rates and a fast reaction speed in combination with a rapid temperature increase during the reaction. However, the gel-time s not seriously affected. Due to the water content of K3 the applied water level of the formulation has to be adjusted.
